About the twins
Annette and Runnette, grew up in Jackson, New Jersey singing gospel and contemporary Christian music at an early age. Travelling was second nature. They sang in venues reaching as far North as New York and as far south as Georgia. The extensive traveling while growing up inspired them to make a life-long commitment to touch audiences through their music. They each sang in different choirs, ensembles, bands and even lent their voices to sing background vocals for local and national recording artist. They decided that singing together and sisterly harmony was the key to their happiness in music. Red Sonja was formed in 2009 where the twins would showcase their talents at weddings, open mics, public events, after parties, corporate events, banquets, grand opening ceremonies, etc. Red Sonja’s love shows through their energetic performances and their unique gift of engaging the crowds they entertain.
